Localizing a US Conference Brand for a European Audience

Objective

Following the successful establishment of InMoment's US conference brand, I was tasked with adapting the entire visual identity for the EMEA client conference in Birmingham, UK.

The Challenge

The established brand identity was heavily themed around Utah's iconic mountains, a visual that would not resonate with a UK and European audience. The goal was to create a brand experience that felt authentic and regionally relevant while maintaining the core "Elevated" concept.

My Solution & Role

As the sole designer for the EMEA event, I led the end-to-end creative execution. I identified that while the UK lacks mountains, its dramatic coastal cliffs offered a powerful and geographically appropriate alternative. Leveraging my own photography, I built a new visual foundation for the brand based on these landscapes.

Key Deliverables

  • Creative Direction: End-to-end brand adaptation, pivoting the "Elevated" concept from mountain-themed to coastal-inspired visuals.

  • Original Brand Assets: Leveraging custom landscape photography to build a regionally relevant visual identity for the EMEA market.

  • Event Photography: On-site asset creation and real-time visual documentation during the conference.

  • Email Marketing: Multi-channel campaign design and deployment tailored for European audiences.

  • Environmental Design: A complete event signage system, utilizing coastal motifs for welcome banners and wayfinding.

  • Presentation Design: Branded, high-impact decks for all speakers that maintain the updated visual narrative.
